Containing space in a box seems impossible, but this piece attempts to do just that. As the Psyche asteroid and orbiter float in a box, viewers of this piece control an outside temperature sensor that activates LED lights, which are used to represent stars. The higher the temperature, the more twinkling stars surround Psyche. The image shows Psyche’s famous two craters, and the asteroid’s elemental color changes.

Psyche is depicted as a robot that is androgynous, humanoid in shape, and skeletal. Its body is metallic, silvery, and accented with brassy, gold-like colors. It appears old and vaguely steampunk. Its head is cocked inquisitively to one side, and it has two large, lopsided eyes that are reminiscent of the giant craters on the asteroid. "Psychebot" is written above the robot, appropriately labeling the character.

This piece is composed of a swirling blue, purple, yellow, and white background with sweeping wide brushstrokes. Interspersed throughout the artwork are cutouts of magazine pages showcasing happiness on people’s and animals’ faces as well as snippets of cities and machines -- human creations. The entire work mimics the surface of the Psyche asteroid, with its crevices and its streaks of gold running along the top. The collage elements are cut in wave shapes to blend in with the direction of the brushstrokes.

On the left shoe, at the toe area, there is a semi realistic painting of the Psyche asteroid. The background is a gradient from yellow to purple. On the outside of the left shoe is the logo for Psyche Inspired. The diamond shaped lines that have a similar gradient is extended to cover the whole outside of the shoe. The inside side of the left shoe is a vibrant orange. On the right shoe, at the toe area, is the spacecraft. It is slightly tilted, cutting off by the edges. The background is black and starry. The outside side of the right shoe is meant to be a "groovy" pattern. There are wavy stripes alternating between the signature yellow, orange, pink, and purple found in the logo. The inside side of the right shoe is also a vibrant orange. Keeping both insides a vibrant orange brings the shoe together and makes them seem more like a pair of shoes rather than two completely different shoes with different designs.
