About the work:
For my third project, I wanted to challenge myself by trying something entirely new. Inspired by The Promise and Risks of Deep-Sea Mining scroll-motion infographic, I explored a similar storytelling approach to illustrate my curiosity about 16 Psyche’s soon-to-be-revealed appearance. As NASA’s Psyche mission approaches the asteroid, I wanted to create an engaging and interactive experience that highlights what we currently know and the discoveries that await. To bring this idea to life, I used Adobe Animate, JavaScript, and GitHub, integrating hand drawn illustrations into the animation. This was my first time working with scroll-motion animation, which made the project both exciting and challenging. I had to learn bunch of new stuff that failed for many times before finally working. The process took longer than expected due to the learning curve, but it was well worth it.
