Genre/Medium: Digital Artwork (Krita)
This is art I originally made to serve as a wallpaper a while ago. This features Psyche, the spacecraft, in the distance as she flies over Psyche, the asteroid, on her beautiful blue ion propulsion! I’ve always been fascinated with that blue glow from ion-propelled spacecraft like Dawn, DART, and Psyche, and although it is not as grand or bright as depicted here in real life, it’s both futuristic and majestic to me, so I wanted to convey that feeling in this artwork.
