The piece depicts four loosely styled spherical asteroids that float in space among stars. Each has two central craters. The first is brown with light grey spots; the second is grey with various shades and highlights. The third features brown, tan, and orange tones; the fourth is a mix of tan, grey, and brown.

Psyche Inspired Showcase – Platinum Class

During the 2025-2026 academic year, 16 talented undergraduate artists from across the nation created a series of works inspired by the NASA Psyche mission.

Psyche Inspired 3D Virtual Gallery

“Mission Psyche: The Arrival” is a full illustration showing a cartographer filling out the details of his map to Psyche. Through the window, you can see the Psyche Asteroid as well as the Psyche spacecraft. The cartographer himself is sitting at his desk inside his own spacecraft, which blends wood, metal, and various machinery to create a unique, ship cabin- spacecraft environment.

From Concept to Cosmos: Phases of the Psyche Mission is a foldable booklet–poster that guides viewers through the mission’s six phases. The booklet features pages with distressed graphics of the asteroid and spacecraft. It unfolds into a poster to convey the asteroid’s material and a sense of space exploration.
