PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Psyche mission at NASA has invited Capstone teams across the country to create web-based projects that utilize augmented reality and virtual reality. The goal of these projects is to increase public knowledge and engagement in the Psyche mission. The projects should present the mission in an interactive, creative way. This team developed an interactive, web-hosted game that allows the player to select a difficulty and participate in different challenges based on the level. Each of these activities explains something about the Psyche mission to the player. Augmented reality displays gameplay features on a 3D model of the Psyche asteroid, encoded with QR codes. Users will be able to play a game based on the Psyche mission using their smartphones by scanning QR codes.
