PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Escape to Psyche is a virtual reality escape room set during a futuristic mission to the asteroid Psyche. Developed for play at public Psyche events, it immerses players in a fun and interactive space environment while they explore and learn more about the original Psyche mission. It uses simple and intuitive controls to introduce players of all ages and familiarity to the world of virtual reality.
The gameplay has a countdown of three minutes and starts players off in a Psyche-inspired futuristic spaceship, and they must initiate the landing sequence in order to succeed. To do this, the player navigates through a series of puzzles, interacts with models, and finds a code in order to fix the malfunctioning electricity and hit the land button. This project was developed using Unity, C#, and Blender for custom assets.
