Projected across a panoramic wall, visitors see an interactive environment recreating Psyche’s landscape and an orbiting spacecraft. The exhibit combines many theories of what Psyche looks like. The asteroid is shown to have a gravel-like regolith covering solid rocky ground. Craters from past collisions form deep valleys, revealing patches of raw metal buried just beneath the rocky surface.
