The form of the asteroid and the spacecraft of “psyche” are combined into one hybrid unit. It is drawn in ink atop a colored watercolor background based on the map of the optical albedo of the asteroid which is a measurement of the reflection of sunlight.

A stained glass artwork shows Earth on one side in bright blues and greens and the asteroid Psyche on the other in dark tones. Between them, two human hands reach toward each other but do not touch, inspired by Michelangelo. Light passes through the glass, highlighting a divide between the known and the unknown.
A textured asteroid with a metallic, rocky surface cracked open to reveal a glowing core. The interior radiates warm light through layers of yellow tinfoil, silk and dark soil. Thin, glowing white lines loop around the body in the shape of butterfly wings, representing magnetic fields. Set against a deep blue starry nebula, the piece depicts planetary metamorphosis and resilience.
“Mission Psyche: The Arrival” is a full illustration showing a cartographer filling out the details of his map to Psyche. Through the window, you can see the Psyche Asteroid as well as the Psyche spacecraft. The cartographer himself is sitting at his desk inside his own spacecraft, which blends wood, metal, and various machinery to create a unique, ship cabin- spacecraft environment.
“The Pieces of Psyche" shows the Psyche craft in dark space, surrounded by its key instruments and stars. It has a large box-shaped core, two purple solar panels. On a larger scale, there is a dark grey magnetometer cylinder with a light grey ball, a dark hollow imager tube on a black base, and a grey barrel-shapped gamma-ray and neutron spectrometer connected to a metal box with wires.
